Like any other GoMage extension, ProCart is highly flexible and customizable extension with many interesting features and options which can be managed on the backend. The principal feature of this module is Ajax functionality due to which the page is not fully reloaded when products are added to the shopping cart, only the cart block is changed. The features of this confirmation window are also customizable in the extension settings, so the store owner can specify whether this window will have to be closed manually by a user or it will disappear automatically after a certain period of time. Also, it is possible to set whether a user will stay on the current page after the confirmation window is closed, or they will be redirected elsewhere.
The backend settings of ProCart extension are also used to select how the quantity of product items will be updated. A customer can have a possibility to choose the quantity immediately on the category or product page, before they add a product to cart. They can also change the quantity after the product is added using corresponding buttons which should be enabled in the extension settings. The shopping cart icon is displayed on every page after a user has added a product to the cart, and it can be extended to a pop-up window in which the quantity can be updated, edited or removed. The product details such as color and size are also displayed in that window. By clicking on 'Edit' button a user will be redirected to the product page on which the necessary options can be edited.The design of the extension buttons, background and other elements can be configured using the backend settings. This allows the store admin to adjust the extension layout to the website theme and general web store design.
